I only use this app to control my 3 programs and increase or decrease the volume. Choosing the program works great, but I have one problem and one suggestion related to the volume control. The problem is that the app doesnt know what the volume setting is currently on my hearing aids. If I open the battery door over night, my hearing aids reset back to medium volume, but the app doesnt know that and still shows the volume that I last set using the app from the day before. The app should be able to know what the volume current settings are! One really needed improvement would be for the volume slider bar display tick marks AND to show a numerical value for the volume (1 to 100 or something similar would be great!) Lastly, I hate that you cant have and attachment like headphones connected (cable or bluetooth) and use this app at the same time. Fix these problems and Id give it a FIVE!

I like the options of control s from IPhone still not sure of how to make full use of app , Ill keep tinkering with it till my next visit with the Audiologist. I was totally ripped off by buying top of the line aid 3800.00 bucks with battery charger 300.00 for that .

The app does a good job.

Being new to hearings aids I find this app very useful, that said, this app will not work while my phone is paired with my vehicle. As far as Im concerned driving is one of the most challenging Enviormental for hearing aids. The Spacial Configurator is great and is the most useful and flexible aspect of the app. Fix the app where both the vehicle and the hearing aids can be paired to my phone at the same time and this app would be a 5 star rated by me.

This is a nice app but I find when I am in the machine shop the mute function works intermittently, sometimes I can mute and other times I cant un-mute. Also would be very helpful if we could control the balance and also mute one ear while on the phone.

All the features of the app function as they are supposed too. Id give the app 5 stars but for 2 issues. 1st - the Bluetooth issue when in my car and not being able to use the app. On the positive side I can see where being able to use it while driving can be a danger. 2nd - the spatial configurator should keep the selection highlighted.

1. It will effect one side but not the other. Even in a quiet room with the phone held equidistant from the two. Sometimes it works on the left, sometimes on the right. 2. The volume slider on the app has no relation to the volume on the earpieces. One might think you could calibrate this by sliding it all the way down or all the way up. But that doesnt work because a problem number one. 3. So the best way to control the volume is to turn this app off and do it by hand.

I love the convenience of this app.. I think you should add a feature to help us find our misplaced, items in our home. I am new to this and I have seemed to lost them. Ive torn my house apart and still... Nothing I have seen other brands offer this feature

The hearing aid works well but does not include Bluetooth without an attachment unlike Beltone which does not hear as well. The app does not allow separate hearing control and does not allow as much control as the Beltone app. The app also gets interference from a car Bluetooth and does not allow for easy separation.

This app just went from Siemens to signia and stopped working. No controls anymore!

Basic concept of an app. This app could be so much more for the hearing impaired. It is severely lacking in the ability to fine tune the nuances of sound:noise. I have electronics that are 20-39 years old that has more fine tuning of what is heard that this device. What is so problematic about giving the hearing impaired more control over what they want to hear, how they want to hear it and in what settings/context they hear it in. Obviously any of the aforementioned could be a coalesce-Venn diagram of function , which would provide the freedoms of developing highly customizable settings. One may conclude that Siemens is Gate Keeping; Provide a more refined modality of functions losing our hearing idiosyncrasies--beyond or in conjunction of what our hearing aid Doctor pre-programs. Thank you for the audience. I hope this was helpful to the consumers and the developers.

Once installed, this application proceeded to not work at all. I can no longer control the volume, change programs, or adjust the bass/treble slider. I might just as well have nothing at all. This app is worth exactly what you pay for it. Too bad there isnt an option for no stars.

This app has to be 1,000 times better to get up to adequate. The volume adjustment does not work at all. The information about the app is worthless. The other controls either dont work or work only sporadically. There is nothing I can think of that is positive about this. I purchased the Siemens instruments because of the ratings for the aids. I wanted remote control of them. Using my phone seemed great since I would not have another thing to carry around. I am sorry as hell that I did not read the reviews before I bought these. This entirely useless app means I do not have the remote control I wanted. Siemens, you should be ashamed of yourself!! This junky app effectively makes your representations nothing less than false advertising and a bait and switch scam. I am going to try to return the aids or trade them in for a pair from an honest manufacturer.

And its unclear. Waste of time.

The new app works if you turn off your aids, put them in, turn them on...then you have 3 minutes to follow setup instructions.

Would probably give a 3.5. Think most people do not understand this app really is to be used with the help of an audiologist who can fine tune it. Still having said that I have never had an issue setting it up. If it is not working, trying turning both aids off and then back on just before running setup - works every time for me. I do agree that making you buy an add on device after spending so much money for your hearing aids just to be able to sync with your phone is a little greedy, but that is how it is. Still this app works fine and I was surprised how well the spatial control works - nice touch since I did not buy the add on device. Still think room for improvement.
